My name is Krystal Dales, and I'm a part-time freelance artist currently situated in Lincolnshire near Boston.
The main reasons for my part-time freelance artwork is that I have been a full-time carer for my disabled mother, since the age of 7 and have been dealing with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) since my diagnosis at the age of 11. I decided that being a freelance artist would be the ideal job for as I've always loved to draw and create art as a way to relax and unwind after a stressful day, and so I went to college and finished my college's 3 year long Art & Design course, with high enough grades to go onto university, but found myself unable to due to my caring responsibility's, so I did the next best thing and started my own art business.
My art business is where I sell my services as a custom portrait artist, specializing in Pet Portraits, as well as sell my other art and photography pieces as prints and where allowable as useful products with the aid of two production company's.
Now you may notice by looking at my shop most of what I sell is nature and animal related, this is because my most favorite things in the world are animals and natural landscapes, simply because I find them relaxing and enjoyable to be around and look at.
In fact when I look back on the art that I did before starting at college most of what I drew was horses. I've always loved horses, in fact I should say that my love of the animal is the reason that I'm still able to keep fit, active and happy as I'm able to scrape together enough money every Saturday to go horse riding at my local stable for an hour, in fact I've been riding since I was 6 years old and I was allowed to go as a birthday treat, however between the ages of 11 and 15 I struggled with getting support for my CFS and home life and so struggled to do that one thing that I love slightly more than art.
I can safely say that I am coping better now at the age of 20, than I've ever done before and am beginning to enjoy everyday of life and not just Saturdays and so I am now beginning to work towards my one goal in life, which simply is to eventually own a horse of my own. Hopefully I will be able to achieve that!
One last thing if you've made it this far, is I just want to thank you for reading this short novel that I've written here, well done on making this far and also I want to thank you for visiting this humble little website of mine and giving my art a chance to catch your eye. I hope that if you do decide to buy something from me that it lives up to your expectations and that you love it as much as I loved making it!
Have a very lovely day!
